BLEACHED VORTEX - ORIGINAL PAINTING

$1,350.00

Bleached Vortex is an abstract exploration of climate imbalance and oceanic loss. Painted with handmade watercolors and acrylics crafted from earth and mineral pigments, this painting swirls with deep, moody blues disrupted by delicate white patterns that evoke the haunting stillness of coral bleaching. The work spirals with layered emotion—both chaotic and eerily calm—mirroring the ocean’s quiet suffering.

The canvas is textured and sealed with a non-toxic varnish, allowing the rawness of the materials to remain visible and tactile. Bleached Vortex serves as both a visual meditation and a climate conversation starter—inviting the viewer to consider the cost of environmental neglect and the resilient beauty that still remains beneath the surface.

Perfect for collectors who seek artwork rooted in sustainability, storytelling, and ecological reflection.

Year: 2024
Size: each canvas 12×36”
Mixed Media: handmade watercolor & acrylic from earth & mineral pigments, gesso, natural varnish on canvas
