CERAMICS
YEAR: 2025
WON BEST CERAMIC SCULPTURE
AT SUFFOLK COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENT EXHIBITION 2025:
DRILL, BABY, DRILL
Once a rallying cry, now a requiem.
A diesel tank glazed in warning yellow—caution tape for the climate.
From its belly, coral rises.
Resilient.
Defiant.
A reminder that even in the grip of greed, life still fights to grow.
This is the cost of addiction to oil:
bleached reefs, broken ecosystems, borrowed time.
We’re not out of options—
but we are running out of excuses.

Ceramics: Vessels of Land and Sea
Rooted in texture, form, and the natural world, my ceramic work is an extension of my connection to the coast. From sculptural vessels to coral-inspired pieces, each form is shaped by hand, carrying the essence of water, earth, and time. Since 2022 I have created with clay. Now majoring in this medium, I am deepening my exploration, and there is so much more to come—new works that honor resilience, regeneration, and the beauty of the natural world in clay. Many vessels have sold, many have been exhibited in shows like A Ceramics Show (featuring all women from local Long Island ceramic artists & international artists), Museum of Contemporary Art Long Island, and Gallery North.
