The Creative Corner, in the SBU Chemistry Building, is a collaborative effort between the Chemistry Department and the Arts Everywhere Initiative. 

Connecting Bonds highlights the influences, associations, and synergies between the arts and sciences.  Chemistry, in particular, is the study of matter—its composition, properties, and structure—and the transformations that matter undergoes. It’s an art form in and of itself and is intricately tied to almost every aspect of our daily lives. We aim to inspire Chemistry students and the broader student body to explore ways in which their field of study can be linked to various personal interests related to chemistry.
