About the Exhibition:
GreenBox@Le Petit Versailles Part II brings together artists, activists, gardeners, and community members to consider the garden as a shared space of ecological stewardship, collective imagination, and social exchange.
At a moment marked by environmental instability, growing inequality, and the erosion of public resources, the project explores how practices of care, repair, food sovereignty, biodiversity, and mutual aid can generate more sustainable and equitable futures. Through installations, screenings, workshops, performances, and conversations, participating artists engage the garden not merely as a site of cultivation, but as a living commons where ecological and social relations are continuously negotiated.
Situated within the long-standing community ecology of Le Petit Versailles, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on interdependence, environmental justice, and the forms of collective responsibility necessary to sustain both human and more-than-human communities.
