SIZZLE II: A Summer Survey of Contemporary Art on Long Island
The Memorial Gallery at Farmingdale State College is pleased to present SIZZLE II: A Survey of Contemporary Art on Long Island, a wide-ranging summer exhibition featuring works by contemporary artists living and working across Long Island. The exhibition opens June 22 and remains on view through August 21, 2026, in the Memorial Gallery, located in Hale Hall.

Curated by Beth Giacummo, SIZZLE II includes a dynamic cross-section of current artistic practice on Long Island. The exhibition showcases the vitality and diversity of the region's creative community, bringing together work in a broad range of media including painting, mixed media, sculpture, photography, and small-scale installation.

The exhibition is accompanied by a closing reception on August 21, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, open to the public.

Artists on view include Amanda Reilly, Andrea Cote, Bonnie Bredes, Cara Lynch, Christie Jones, Christine Baum, Constance Sloggatt Wolf, Darlene Charneco, Diana Salomon, Donna Proper, Esther Marie Caponigro, Eve Hammer, Florentino Garguilo, Gabriela Manfredi, Isabella Fernanda, Jeremy Dennis, Jessamyn Go, Jessica Valentin, JoAnne Dumas, John Cino, Jonathan Horowitz, Katelyn Attison, Kristine Houghtalen, Michael Krasowitz, Moriah Ray-Britt, Pamela Waldroup, Ria Rajan, Robert Carioscia, Robert Stenzel, Roshanak Keyghobadi, Scott McIntire, and Thomas Germano.
